Tiramisu
Tiramisu was first created in a restaurant called Le Beccherie in Treviso, Italy in the early 1970s. In Italian, tiramisù translates to “pick me up”. It means that the dessert will give you a boost, from the kick of the coffee in the dessert.
Crepes
Crêpes and pancakes are not the same. While both are made from a batter, crepes are thinner and have a smoother texture compared to the fluffy and thick pancakes. In some European countries, crêpes can be also filled with meat, mushroom, cheese or cream.
